A summary of what changed in each release of ANE. For downloads, see the Releases page.

Version 2.1

• New: Batch Data Generator creates dummy files of any size, or empty folders, in bulk, with:
  • fixed or random size in KB / MB / GB / TB;
  • Sparse (minimal disk usage) or Fully Allocated (real space);
  • customized name patterns, ready-made presets, and date sequences;
  • a mirror mode that places a twin next to every existing file;
  • a free-space check before fully-allocated runs, and a clean stop if a drive fills up.
• Live Search: added an "Only hidden files" filter, a grey search-box hint (type . to list everything), and Delete-key support for sending results to the Recycle Bin.
• Selection File Edit: the Levels field now defaults to 1 (current folder only).
• Interface polish: dark scrollbars, dark tab headers, and a focus frame on the tool windows.

Version 1.9

• New: Selection File Edit collects files from an entire folder tree into one destination, with Files-only / Folders-only / Both modes, level control, a word filter, and a name-conflict list.
• Live Search: added the Find in results bar to filter found items live by name, type, or format.
• Cleaner Preview button label.

Version 1.8

• Batch renaming with Add, Remove, and Replace.
• Preview before renaming.
• Subfolder recursion with a depth selector.
• Keyword and format filters; case-sensitivity toggle.
• The Live Search window.
• CSV export of results.
