Introduction
Parssist can also be used online. The possible settings are particularly advantageous for this.
There you will also find possible examples of different grammar.
Settings
Format
Tokentable
This window is especially important for lexical analysis. You can recognize a token type lex and a tokens list.
The token type lex list is taken directly from the lexfile definition and describes all possible token types that the grammar has.
The token list depends on the input and is updated each time the input word is changed. All tokens are recorded according to the token types and listed in sequence.
The priority is currently defined indirectly in the lexfile with the definition sequence. This is particularly necessary if there are ambiguous regex statements for several token types.
Parsetree
The parsetree is generated with an input word. This can also be downloaded as a json. Note that the generated parser code also has a possibility to print parse trees. At the moment you cannot remove this in the settings.
