What's new

Fixed

  • Fixed observation ending when a retained screen was covered by a pushed destination or hidden by a tab switch.
  • Returning to a retained screen preserves its content identity, nested ViewModels, local state and scroll position, avoiding unnecessary initialisation and data reloads.

Lifecycle behaviour

Observation now follows the view’s SwiftUI structural identity rather than each appearance.

Explicit scene-pause policies (pauseInBackground and pauseWhenInactive) still withdraw content and pause observation. Actual removal or ViewModel identity replacement still cancels observation and joins teardown before releasing ownership.
