Public Preview. Agentic Tree by layerPx is a free plugin for DeepSeek Harness that visualizes agent teams, delegation and runs. It adds an Agentic Tree tab beside Chat and Trajectory with three views: Team (agent sessions and delegation), Work (individual runs and background jobs, with an optional Live camera) and Agentic Guide (interactive example schemes). The plugin only reads native Harness data; it cannot launch, stop or prompt agents.

Status

  • Build and automated checks passed: type check, 41 automated tests, bundle build, third-party notice check.
  • Independent installation check is still pending. This pre-release exists so that check can be done from a public link. Please report problems as GitHub issues.

Compatibility

  • DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.2 only, with compatibility checks enabled. Other Harness versions are not verified.
  • No API key or additional model connection is needed.

Install

Use the attached layerpx-harness-agent-viewer-0.4.2.tgz. The "Source code (zip)" and "Source code (tar.gz)" archives that GitHub adds automatically contain unbuilt sources and are not installable plugin packages.

  1. Download layerpx-harness-agent-viewer-0.4.2.tgz and SHA256SUMS from the assets below into one folder.
  2. Verify the archive: shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS → layerpx-harness-agent-viewer-0.4.2.tgz: OK.

  3. Finish active work in Harness. In Harness open Plugins → Add plugin, paste the absolute path to the downloaded .tgz, install and enable it.
    CLI alternative: dsh plugin --profile <profile> add /absolute/path/to/layerpx-harness-agent-viewer-0.4.2.tgz.
  4. Restart DeepSeek Harness, open a conversation and select Agentic Tree.

To remove: disable or remove @layerpx/harness-agent-viewer in Plugins (or dsh plugin --profile <profile> remove @layerpx/harness-agent-viewer) and restart Harness.

The plugin is distributed through this repository's releases; it is not published to npm.

Note on the test kit. INSTALL-TEST.md and README-FIRST.txt were prepared before this publication and are attached unchanged. Section 0 of INSTALL-TEST.md says that version 0.4.2 is not published and that no download address exists yet — this is superseded by this release. Wherever the kit refers to the attached archive, use layerpx-harness-agent-viewer-0.4.2.tgz from the assets of this release; its SHA-256 is the same as in the kit.

The code of the rights holder, Vitaly Averyanov, is licensed under Apache-2.0 (see LICENSE and NOTICE). Bundled third-party components keep their own licenses (THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md). Use of the product name and logo: TRADEMARK.md.
