First public release.
acore-data is a local MCP server + agent tooling for a single AzerothCore
WotLK (3.3.5) install. One process, stdio JSON-RPC, 12 tools: unified
query across DBC binaries and live SQL tables (world / characters / auth /
playerbots), creature spawns, terrain and pathfinding, encounter rollups,
and playerbots-config / C++-enum reference — all cross-linked through a
475-entry datastore registry.
Quick start
git clone https://github.com/avirar/acore-data
cd acore-data && ./setup.sh
echo '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list","params":{}}' | .venv/bin/python3 server.pyPoint it at your AzerothCore checkout's DBC/terrain data and MySQL via
env vars, or let it auto-detect from worldserver.conf. It also boots
with zero install (degraded mode) and tells you exactly what to set —
handy for trying the protocol.
Highlights
- One entry point for DBC + SQL + C++ struct knowledge, with per-field
cross-references and type-aware resolution (spell effects, loot,
mechanics, …) - Degrades gracefully: missing DBC / DB / terrain data produces
actionable errors, never a crash - Full test suite (184 tests) and CI on Python 3.10 / 3.12 / 3.13, with
a registry structural audit as a quality gate - Works on Linux and Windows; first-class pi (coding agent) bridge
