Awan Host Remote v0.1.1

Awan Host Remote is now available for Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) as well as Windows.

🤖 Built 100% with AI assistance. All of the code was written by an AI coding assistant; the project owner sets the features, reviews the results, and tests them. The code has not been independently audited, so try it on a test server before using it in production.

What's new

• Linux support: a .deb package for 64-bit Ubuntu/Debian, with an application menu entry and icon.
• Saved logins on Linux: SSH profiles are stored in the desktop keyring (GNOME Keyring or KWallet) via the Secret Service API and are never written to a plaintext file. If no keyring is available, you can still sign in manually.
• The app now opens on the Hosts page at startup.

Installation

Windows

1. Download Awan-Host-Remote-v0.1.1-windows-x64.zip, extract it, and run Awan Host Remote.exe.
2. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning because the executable is not code-signed. If you trust the source, choose More info → Run anyway.

Ubuntu / Debian

sudo apt install ./Awan-Host-Remote-v0.1.1-linux-amd64.deb

Requires a Vulkan-capable graphics driver (mesa-vulkan-drivers or your GPU vendor's driver). To save logins, run the app from a desktop session with an unlocked keyring.

On the server side, Python 3 is required, and Docker is needed for the Docker page. See the README for details.

Notes

• This is an early release with no automated tests yet.
• The Linux build was tested on Ubuntu 24.04 (WSL2): compilation, .deb installation, window rendering, and saving logins to the keyring. SSH login from the UI on a native Ubuntu desktop has not been tested yet.

Awan Host Remote v0.1.0

Rilis awal Awan Host Remote — aplikasi desktop Rust native untuk menghubungkan dan mengelola server Linux lewat SSH.

🤖 Dibangun 100% dengan bantuan AI. Seluruh kode ditulis oleh AI coding assistant; pemilik proyek menentukan fitur, meninjau, dan menguji. Kode belum diaudit secara independen — coba di server uji dulu sebelum dipakai di produksi.

Isi rilis

• Hosts: login password atau SSH key, verifikasi host key (SHA-256), login tersimpan di Windows Credential Manager.
• Summary: identitas server, CPU/RAM/disk, Update System, Reboot, Shutdown.
• Terminal: terminal SSH interaktif penuh (warna, vim/htop, resize) dengan panel bawah yang bisa ditarik.
• File Editor: explorer folder remote, buat/import/salin/pindah/hapus/chmod, editor dengan pemeriksaan konflik, preview Markdown, Git clone/status/pull/push.
• Docker: container per project Compose, pemakaian CPU/RAM, log, restart/stop/start, exec, rebuild, down, buat network, dan backup database langsung ke komputer Anda.
• Database Browser: jelajahi database dan tabel di container MariaDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL, serta tab SQL dengan konfirmasi untuk DDL/DML.
• Firewall: UFW/firewalld dengan peringatan untuk port SSH.
• Applications: katalog instalasi dan daftar paket terpasang (APT/DNF).
• Bahasa Indonesia/English, tema terang/gelap.

Cara pakai

1. Unduh Awan-Host-Remote-v0.1.0-windows-x64.zip, ekstrak, lalu jalankan Awan Host Remote.exe.
2. Windows SmartScreen dapat memberi peringatan karena exe belum ditandatangani; pilih More info → Run anyway bila Anda mempercayai sumbernya.
3. Server membutuhkan Python 3; Docker diperlukan untuk halaman Docker. Lihat README untuk detail.

Catatan

• Pre-release: masih tahap awal dan belum ada test otomatis.
• Hanya untuk Windows x64. Login tersimpan saat ini hanya tersedia di Windows.
