AWS Student Builder Groups (formerly AWS Cloud Clubs) are official AWS-backed, student-led communities on university campuses worldwide. These groups bring students together to explore cloud technology, build real projects, and develop the technical skills that the industry is actively hiring for.
Each group operates with the support of the AWS community program, giving members access to AWS credits, certification resources, mentorship, and a global network of peers building with cloud technology.
We are the AWS Student Builder Group at Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. This GitHub organization is our engineering hub: a structured environment where members ship real cloud, DevOps, AI, and full stack projects with documented architecture, peer-reviewed code, and production-level standards.
Members graduate from this program with a public portfolio of real, deployed work. Every repository under this organization reflects the same engineering discipline expected in professional software teams: clear documentation, meaningful commit history, deliberate architectural decisions, and code that has been reviewed before it merges.
| Track | Focus Areas |
|---|---|
| Cloud & DevOps | AWS architecture, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, containerization, observability, cost optimization |
| AI & Machine Learning | ML pipelines, LLM-powered applications, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, applied research |
| Full Stack Development | Web and API development, serverless applications, system design, product-grade frontend and backend engineering |
Every project is public, reviewed, and documented. Visitors and contributors can browse the work, study the architecture, and build on it.
| Repository | Description |
|---|---|
| cloud-devops-projects | AWS infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, and IaC projects |
| ai-ml-projects | Applied AI and machine learning projects |
| fullstack-projects | Web applications, APIs, and product engineering |
| learning-resources | Onboarding guides, cheat sheets, and reference material |
- Documentation first. Every project ships with a complete README. No README, no merge.
- Peer review, always. No pull request merges without an approval from another contributor.
- Security by default. No hardcoded credentials, least-privilege IAM, and strict separation of secrets from code.
- Cost-conscious engineering. Projects are scoped to AWS Free Tier and credit limits. Resource cleanup is a hard requirement, not a suggestion.
Full contribution standards are in CONTRIBUTING.md.
