Bindlume 0.1.0-alpha.1 — public testing preview

Choose a tag to compare

Bindlume is open for early testing on Omarchy’s Lua-based Hyprland desktop.

Search desktop and application shortcuts, see their keys on a keyboard, bookmark useful combinations, and optionally use an agent companion to find shortcuts or change the app’s settings. It follows system colors and includes Square, Rounded, and Neo appearances.

This is a public alpha, not a stable release. Windows, macOS, and other Linux desktops are not supported testing targets yet. Some translations and physical-device scenarios need more testing.

The attached source archive includes the app, installer, bundled guide, documentation, and tests. Install the dependencies listed in the README, extract the archive, and run make install from its directory. Installation preserves personal state and backs up managed desktop configuration changes. The optional global keyboard guide needs separate, explicit input access. The companion requires your own authenticated harness or API connection.

Verification: GitHub CI ran 209 Python tests: 208 passed and one opt-in photo test was skipped. All six QML checks passed. The optional photo workflow was run and reviewed locally. Clean archive install, update, and uninstall checks passed.

Please test search, keyboard navigation, source switching, appearance, resizing with chat open, and restart. Include your app revision, Omarchy/Hyprland versions, display scale, and reproducible steps in reports.
