Fixed

  • The main window's compact range dropdown never showed the range you picked —
    the toolbar collapsed its label to a bare arrow. It is now a native macOS
    pop-up that always displays the current selection.

Fixed

  • Localhost traffic is no longer counted as usage — e.g. Android Studio ↔
    emulator streaming recorded as hundreds of phantom GB per day. nettop now
    reports only real interfaces (WiFi, wired, hotspot, VPN).

The first release of Sysline — see which apps use your internet, and how much, over time. macOS doesn't keep per-app network history; Sysline does, entirely on your Mac.

Highlights

  • Per-app usage history — download/upload per app for Today, Yesterday, 7/30/90 days, or All history. Searchable, with real app names and icons.
  • Wi-Fi breakdown — usage is tagged by network, and you can filter to one (e.g. isolate your hotspot to match your carrier's count).
  • Speed test — a live speedometer up to 1000 Mbps with ping, loaded latency, per-activity ratings (Browsing / Gaming / Streaming / Video calls), and a saved history with ISP and location. Uses Cloudflare's public endpoints — no account.
  • Floating monitor — a small always-on-top HUD with live totals, top apps, and a trend chart. Three sizes; remembers where you put it.
  • Data-plan alerts — set your plan limit and a "notify me at" value, get one alert when you cross it — plus an optional daily usage report at a time you pick.
  • Private and light — 100% on-device, no accounts, no telemetry, ~0% CPU at idle. Open source.
