Display Bridge v0.3.0

Wireless display transport and companion UI release.

Highlights

  • Added optional local Wi-Fi Direct transport alongside USB/AOA.
  • Added one-time trust-on-first-use pairing, authenticated reconnect, Android-Keystore-encrypted peer trust, fresh ECDH keys, and AES-256-GCM-protected DBP1 records.
  • Added bounded Wi-Fi Direct recovery and transport-neutral DBP1 ownership.
  • Reworked the companion Connection screen, navigation drawer, Layout favorites, and Technical details.
  • Remembered Output mode and apply it after either Wired or Wireless connection.
  • Added selective USB autostart for Rokid glasses and direct glasses exit; double tap remains reserved for exit.
  • Improved proxy/VPN route-change resilience by binding wireless sockets to the Wi-Fi Direct network.

Privacy and security

Wireless mode is local-only and needs no router, cloud account, QR code, typed PIN, gesture code, or USB pairing. Android's INTERNET permission is used only for local Java TCP sockets.
