Performance release of azminer — a fast, native GPU miner for Pearl
(pearlhash), Quantus (qpow-poseidon2) and Parano1d. One self-contained
binary, no Python, no WSL, no extra runtimes.
⚡ What's new — Quantus kernel refresh
The Quantus (qpow-poseidon2) CUDA kernels were refreshed across every supported
architecture — SM 6.1, 7.5, 8.6, 8.9 and 12.0 (Pascal through Blackwell). The new
kernels are faster on 35 of 37 tested GPUs at the same clocks and power, with
no clear regressions. Pearl and Parano1d are unchanged.
Measured against the previous v1.2.2 release (same physical GPU for each pair):
- +3.68% mean per-SKU hashrate · +3.66% geometric mean · +4.18% aggregate.
- Aggregate Quantus hashrate 15,608.79 MH/s (new) vs 14,982.22 MH/s (v1.2.2).
- Two cards landed inside the ±2% parity band (GTX 1080 Ti −0.31%, TITAN Xp −0.10%);
everything else improved. - New-binary duty averaged 100.00% (min 99.97% on RTX 3060).
- Zero rejected shares and zero hardware errors across all 74 measured legs.

Method: same physical GPU per new/old pair (new then old); 60 s warm-up + 210 s
measurement per leg; no clock, fan, voltage or power-limit changes. One A/B pass per
SKU — treat sub-1% deltas as parity until repeated. Some SKUs (e.g. GTX 1050/1050 Ti,
GTX 1070 Ti, RTX 2070 SUPER, RTX 2080/2080 SUPER, RTX 3050) and laptop variants were
not covered this round.

🚀 What's new
- Parano1d support (new coin). azminer now mines Parano1d alongside Pearl
and Quantus — just pass-a parano1d. The Windows package includes a ready-made
start-parano1d.batlauncher. Parano1d pools are typically TLS, so use a
stratum+ssl://host:portendpoint (e.g.stratum+ssl://hk2.innovlab.cc:19601).

- Quantus is ~10% faster. The
qpow-poseidon2kernels were tuned for higher
throughput — expect roughly +10% hashrate on Quantus across supported cards,
at the same power. Pearl performance is unchanged. Updated per-GPU figures are in
the README.
