AzuraJS CLI v1.1.0 Release Notes

Release Date: January 16, 2026

Highlights

  • Multi-Linter Support: You can now select multiple linters (ESLint, Prettier, XO, Standard, Biome) when creating a new project. The CLI will generate configuration files and scripts for each selected linter.
  • Package Manager Choice: Choose your preferred package manager (npm, pnpm, yarn, bun) during project setup. The CLI will run the correct install command automatically.
  • Improved Project Templates: Both JavaScript and TypeScript templates now include:
    • Home, Search, and User controllers with basic API routes and HTML responses.
    • Modern, styled landing page and example endpoints for health check, user management, and search.
    • Logging middleware enabled by default.
  • TypeScript Template Enhancements:
    • Decorator-based routing with example controllers.
    • New types for User, SearchResult, ApiResponse, and SearchResponse.
    • Updated tsconfig.json with decorator support and stricter flags.
  • Better User Experience:
    • CLI prompts are clearer and more interactive.
    • Next steps and commands are shown after project creation.
    • Improved error handling for dependency installation.

Dependency Updates

  • Added azurajs as a devDependency for template projects.
  • Updated internal dependencies for better compatibility.

Migration Notes

  • Projects created with previous CLI versions can be updated manually to use the new multi-linter and package manager features.
  • TypeScript projects should enable emitDecoratorMetadata and experimentalDecorators in tsconfig.json for full decorator support.
