Hexlog v0.4.1
What's Changed
Hexlog 0.4.1 is a polish-and-consistency release, mostly around the virtual tabletop and list interactions.
Virtual tabletop (VTT)
- The map canvas now follows the active theme — switching to the light theme no longer leaves the VTT stuck on a black canvas
- Tokens show a dashed selection ring when selected, and the resize handle now appears on hover as well as selection, making resize easy to find
- The resize handle is bigger and fully clickable (the outer half used to be clipped off and unreachable), with clearer cursor feedback on the corner
- Right-click now actually cancels a pending token placement — the status bar previously said it would, but it didn't
- No-op clicks on the map no longer trigger redundant autosaves
Consistency between tabs
- Right-click Delete now targets the row you right-clicked, not whichever row happened to be selected before — on characters, NPCs, locations, monsters, and journal notes
- Scenes gained the same right-click context menu (New / Rename / Delete) and Delete-key shortcut that the other lists already had
- Filter boxes now show "No matches for the current filter" instead of a misleading "No Xs yet" empty-state hint
Bug fixes
- Rebuilding the VTT token menu no longer assumes every character record has a name field
