Focus on Writing, Not Syntax

MarkEdit Combined Edit-Preview gives you a distraction-free writing experience. Markdown syntax fades away as you write — headings, bold, links, and more appear clean and readable. Move your cursor to any line to instantly edit the raw Markdown.

What it does

Install

Download markedit-edit-preview.js below and place it in:
~/Library/Containers/app.cyan.markedit/Data/Documents/scripts/

Restart MarkEdit and find Combined Edit-Preview in the Extensions menu.

Supported Formatting

Headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, links, images, code blocks, blockquotes, lists, and horizontal rules.
