• Fixed debug output suppression: Replaced _git_format_date_quiet function with subshell isolation technique to eliminate debug traces from git-clean-stashes
• Improved POSIX compatibility: Converted all echo -e statements to printf with proper newline formatting in test script to eliminate -e artifacts in POSIX sh
• Fixed temp file cleanup errors: Added existence checks before rm -f commands to prevent "trash: path does not exist" errors on systems with rm aliased to trash utilities
