Release list
1.x-1.0.0-beta2
- Menu: moved under the renamed Migration Centre root — the bbPress importer is now at
admin/config/acuity-wpmc/bbforum(was
admin/config/acuity/wpmc/bbforum), with its Import / Missing files / Settings tabs and the Missing-files report download at the new path. Cross-links to the User Importer and the Global DB Connection updated. Requires the matching acuity_wpmc / acuity_wpuser update (the Migration Centre root moved fromadmin/config/acuity/wpmctoadmin/config/acuity-wpmc). - Docs: README now explains that the bbPress source will later become its own sub-module, and that only that sub-module (not the importer itself) will require the WP Migration Centre.
1.x-1.0.0-beta1
First public beta of Entity Forum Importer - a disposable module that migrates existing forum content into Entity Forum. Enable it, run your migration, then uninstall it; it leaves the imported content and its idempotency map behind.
This release imports WordPress bbPress (via the Acuity WP Migration Centre): forums with order and privacy preserved, topics, threaded replies, attachments into your own image/file fields, inline post images, and member avatars - in one batched, re-runnable pass. It reports anything needing attention (unroutable file extensions, oversized files, missing sources) on a persistent Missing-files tab and attributes every post to its author or to "No longer a member" when the account is gone. The module is built multi-source, with Backdrop Forum, Forum NG and comments converters planned.
Beta for deployment testing - please report issues in the queue. Requires Entity Forum and the Acuity WP Migration Centre; run the WordPress user migration first so posts can be attributed to their authors.
