The CLI is the preferred installation. Install texe.

Added

• Optional macOS and Windows apps for creating and opening papers, installing VS Code, and building PDFs.
• New papers get their own folder. The apps show the full destination before creation.

Fixed

• Windows setup finishes when texe exits, even while VS Code stays open.
• Accented titles and authors are normalized before writing LaTeX source.
• Background tools no longer open extra console windows on Windows.

Desktop signing

The Windows installer is unsigned. The Mac app is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized. Operating-system warnings or security policies may prevent these desktop apps from opening.
