AP Port Studio 0.1.0

Built on Quiver Launcher. Thanks to Thomas Georgiadis and Quiver Launcher contributors, and SirDiabo and GitHubLauncher contributors for the foundation. Original MIT notices remain. This is an independent community fork, not an official or endorsed Quiver release.

This Windows portable release adds guided startup/replayable Help, optional self-configured Jev genre suggestions, genre sorting, native AP project/profile tools, release observations and the console-port scene feed.

You can use it simply as a launcher. Quiver's catalog/library, release downloads and game updates, versions, custom artwork, configured mod management, launch tools and settings are retained from the pinned Quiver base. Leave Jev disabled and ignore Archipelago if you do not need them. Their game/platform prerequisites still apply.

Downloads

  • APPortStudio-0.1.0-win-x64.zip: runnable Windows x64 portable, with .NET included.
  • AP-Port-Studio-0.1.0-source.zip: clean source for building, modifying or handing to Codex/Claude.
  • SHA256SUMS.txt: SHA-256 digests for the attached ZIPs.
  • RELEASE-CHECKS.json: build/test scope and package provenance.

Download the Windows ZIP, extract all files into a writable folder, run APPortStudio.exe, then follow or skip the first-run tutorial. Use Help & setup → Redo tutorial at any time. Add/link your own games and complete each port's game-data setup.

No API keys, personal library/configuration, media, saves, private AP profiles or local Git history are included. Jev starts disabled; each user can configure their own optional keys. The base launcher and AP workshop need no AI key.

Extract, run APPortStudio.exe, follow or skip the tutorial, and revisit Help & setup later. Native AP integrations need their compatible game/mod/APWorld setup. Developer-kit example checks are engineering tests, not playability certification.

Validation and updates

166 focused application tests and 35 pure developer-kit tests passed. Thirteen application screens were rendered; a source ZIP built from fresh extraction and the published executable passed a hidden version check. Archives and checked credential/personal-state patterns were verified. Live paid Jev calls and game-specific AP gameplay were not tested.

Use this fork's Releases for manual application updates. Normal game update controls remain separate; AP Watch observes compatibility changes rather than automatically upgrading working sessions.

Please support the original Quiver Launcher and GitHubLauncher authors. Their work is the foundation of this community edition.
