Image input and routing

• Try eligible channels with unknown image support without requiring a manual verification first. Keep images intact through fallback attempts.
• Distinguish image capability refusals from policy, credential, quota, and image-format errors. Retain support learned from successfully delivered responses.
• Keep the selected Direct model and provide an explicit shortcut to a verified image model on the same channel.

Agent connections and desktop

• Keep managed Agent configuration visible while the proxy is stopped. Start the proxy explicitly before previewing a connection.
• Delete ordinary encrypted backups after seven days while preserving pinned recovery baselines. Show backup status accurately before applying changes.
• Show the desktop build identity and restore the fixed 2.7-second launch animation, with immediate error feedback and reduced-motion support.

• Preserve images throughout request routing. Channels that reject image input return an explicit error without retrying a text-only request.

• Keep free requests on free fallback channels and honor text-based routing rules for image requests.

Vision verification and feedback

• Test a configured model with a generated image and show its result next to that model.
• Keep verification progress and feedback when model management closes and reopens.
• Bind verification results to the configuration, plugin content, and credentials used by that check.
• Apply saved vision capabilities to the running proxy without restarting a proxy that the user has stopped.

  provider credentials.

Reliability and security

• Native status actions use the same generation-checked gateway lifecycle on every platform. Stale Start and
  Stop actions cannot replace a newer state.
• Sensitive Agent configuration values stay behind explicit reveal actions. Logs and error paths keep the
  existing secret-redaction boundary.
• Release checks require four CLI archives, both macOS architectures, the Windows MSI, all three Linux
  packages, updater signatures, and complete SHA-256 checksums.

update behavior.

Desktop platform support

• macOS packages now cover Apple Silicon and Intel. Windows receives an x86-64 MSI. Linux receives x86-64
  AppImage, Debian, and RPM packages.
• Closing the main window keeps Token Station running when a native tray is available. A second launch
  restores the existing process instead of creating another gateway owner.
• Windows uses a notification-area tray icon. Linux uses its native tray menu when the desktop environment
  provides one.

Agent and lifecycle compatibility

• Windows and Linux Agent discovery uses bounded native install locations without executing a user shell.
  Cursor remains connectable only on macOS.

  protections.
• The preview asset check requires both macOS architectures, the Windows MSI, all three Linux packages,
  updater signatures, and complete SHA-256 checksums.

This preview hardens usage accounting, model testing, and release validation. It also improves the desktop
usage and routing interfaces.

Usage and cost accuracy

• Anthropic native requests now preserve upstream token reports across buffered, streamed, retried, and
  client-disconnected attempts. A stream that ends without the required terminal event is marked as
  truncated instead of being reported as complete.
• The usage view distinguishes canonical input totals from older upstream-reported input values. Historical
  rows no longer imply a precision that the stored data does not contain.
• Cache-write token counts and cache pricing remain explicit through aggregation, display, and catalog
  refreshes. A partial catalog response cannot silently replace a more complete cached price record.
• Usage refresh and repricing avoid rewriting incompatible historical rows. Request details show the source
  and quality of the token values used for cost calculations.

Desktop workflow improvements

• The usage page places its summary and trend controls in the first viewport. It adds clearer request,
  token, cache, success-rate, and cost context.
• Usage tabs support keyboard navigation and keep focus aligned with the selected view.
• Model tests now use the same routing, quota, retry, cancellation, and receipt control plane as normal
  requests. The desktop keeps one gateway generation active during a test session.
• Agent routing and Provider controls use clearer labels, tighter layouts, and larger navigation targets.

Reliability and release safeguards

• Official Provider fixture packs now include provenance checks and packaged conformance coverage.
• CI separates pull-request, main, platform, and release gates. A version tag fails closed when the exact
  commit has not passed the required checks.
• Release builds verify their source mode, package inventory, updater assets, and current architecture
  record before publication.
• Windows desktop lint keeps Unix-only security test helpers out of Windows test builds.
• Windows artifact audits normalize package-list line endings before validating bundled components.
• The CLI and desktop backend are split into smaller control-plane and command modules without changing the
  public configuration format.

Japanese and Traditional Chinese

• Select English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, or Japanese in Settings.
• Navigation, setup, routing, usage, errors, recovery actions, status messages, and accessibility text now use the selected language.
• New installations detect supported Japanese and Chinese browser locales. Existing valid language choices remain unchanged.
• Dynamic provider, model, route, quota, and receipt details keep their values while using locale-specific grammar and formatting.

An official v1.2.3 preview can check for v1.2.4 and install it inside the App. The updater verifies the signed

If the App says that the current build does not include the official updater public key, install v1.2.4

Enterprise managed routing

• Enter a Base URL, API key, and optional account name, then use one Connect and use action.
• Token Station validates the managed endpoint without saving its real model catalog.
• The desktop stores only the auto alias. The enterprise service selects the real model and owns routing policy.
• Provider creation and the Direct route target now form one backend draft change.
• Image, tool, structured-output, and reasoning requirements pass through to the managed route.
• The App reports terminal apply success only after the saved revision is running.
