v1.0.1 — Navigation and docs platform improvements

Patch release focused on the documentation platform itself — navigation structure, adjacent-page flow, and page-transition behavior.

Live: https://docs.bandolf.com

Highlights

  • Grouped sidebar navigation — Sections are organized into labeled groups (Getting Started, Guides, API Reference, Reference) instead of a flat list
  • Canonical section order — Sidebar order is driven by explicit section metadata, independent of file discovery order
  • Smarter sidebar defaults — Getting Started stays expanded; the active section still opens automatically
  • Prev/next follows the sidebar — Adjacent page links walk the same grouped navigation tree users see in the sidebar
  • Smooth scroll on page change — Switching documents (prev/next, sidebar, breadcrumbs) scrolls to the top; in-page hash anchors are left intact

Platform

  • React 19 + TypeScript + Vite
  • Tailwind CSS v4
  • React Router
  • react-markdown (GFM, callouts, tabs)
  • Fuse.js for search

What's Next

The documentation platform is in place. Upcoming releases will keep tightening the reading experience while the content continues to grow.
