First OpenDesktopPets-branded public preview.

Highlights

  • App, Xcode project, Swift modules, bundle identity, scripts, tests, documentation, and repository now use OpenDesktopPets.
  • Six bundled offline pets: Orange Tabby, Tuxedo Cat, Siamese Cat, Shiba Inu, Golden Retriever, and Pembroke Corgi.
  • Cursor-follow animation uses 25 directional gaze poses per alternate pet.
  • No account, analytics, network dependency, runtime AI, or private key is included.

Requirements

  • macOS 14 or later
  • Apple silicon (arm64)

Unsigned preview warning
This app is ad-hoc signed, unnotarized, and published as a prerelease. Verify the SHA-256 checksum. macOS may require Control-clicking OpenDesktopPets.app, choosing Open, and confirming.
