• Video from the internal flash. host/make_video.py turns part of any video file into video.bin (H.264 + MP2, DVB-S2 QPSK 3/4, pilots); write it at 0x110000. The video plays at 330.579 kS/s (the test card stays at 333 kS/s): the transmit loop reads the flash through SPI1 in the background and needs 4 spare cycles per symbol for it.
• Front panel source field: the fourth line of the screen switches between TEST CARD 3/4 and VIDEO <length> SR331; the choice is saved. Settings saved by older firmware still load.
• Test card: three squares that step on every frame show that the beacon is live; the provider is now TEST PATTERN.

To change only the video later, program just the 0x110000 row. Erase Flash removes the video too. The merged image includes blank NVS space, so front-panel settings return to their defaults; use the files in separate/ to keep them.

Video playback was checked on hardware: picture and sound, MER 22 dB, no late symbols after start-up; a short hiccup remains where the loop repeats (the TS time base restarts).
