Update Announcement: Azure Theme, Image Cover Enhancement, and New Features

We are excited to share the latest updates to our application, which include a refreshed theme, improved image handling, and several new features. Here’s what’s new:

🎨 Theme Update: Azure Theme

What's New:

  • Theme Change: We have introduced a new .gif based Azure theme.
  • Benefits:
    • Lighter: Optimized for faster image loading.
    • Faster: Improved performance with quicker transitions and reduced load times.

🖼️ Image Cover Update

What's New:

  • Image Format Change: All image covers have been converted to .png format.
  • Size Optimization: Images are now resized to a smaller dimension of 230x108 pixels.
  • Performance Enhancements:
    • Faster Loading: Reduced image size improves loading speed.
    • Pre-Loading: Images for the next page are pre-loaded to enhance user experience.
    • No Need for Resize Images: The new size eliminates the need for additional resizing.

🔄 New Features

1. Restart SteamTools

  • Restart SteamTools: Added functionality to restart SteamTools if it is not launched by default. This ensures a smoother experience and better integration.

2. Check for Updates

  • Update Check: Added a feature to check for the latest Gamebox updates.
  • Download Link: If an update is available, a download link will appear at the top left of the application. The notification will be dismissed automatically within 1 minute.

3. Enhanced Remove Game Functionality

  • Improved Removal: The "Remove Game" button now also removes game shortcuts and associated manifest files from the directory.
  • Why This Matters: This enhancement is beneficial if you wish to purchase the game from Steam and play it online, ensuring a clean slate.
