VU

VU is a browser-based, feature-rich yet lightweight data visualization tool. It harnesses the power of modern technologies such as HTML JavaScript, WebAssembly, HDF, Flask, and Dash plots to deliver advanced visualization and analysis capabilities. Designed for scientists, engineers, and data enthusiasts, VU offers an intuitive and interactive interface for visualizing complex datasets.

The VU application works on mac, Windows 11 and Linux based distributions.

Linux executables are generated using image

VU only supports HDF formats. However, the application features a built-in interface that handles common file formats and automatically converts them into the VU-compatible HDF format (*.h5). Since popular solvers like Ansys, Samcef, and others regularly update their formats, there may be occasional instances where the conversion fails. In such cases, users can report the issue, which will help us enhance the VU HDF conversion algorithm for future updates.
