What's Changed

CLI

  • Choose who a reply goes to. hey reply takes --to, --cc and --bcc (repeatable or comma-separated), merged into the recipients HEY suggests for the reply. --replace-recipients sends to exactly the addresses you give, and --dry-run shows the resolved sender, thread and recipients without sending. Replies stay in the original thread, and reply drafts get the same recipients. (#474)
  • See which address a message was sent as. When HEY sent a message from one of your other addresses, thread reads show that sender alongside the account creator, in text and --json. (#484)

TUI

  • Open links from the keyboard. While reading a thread, Tab and Shift+Tab move between links, the full destination is shown before anything opens, and Enter opens http, https and mailto links. (#475)
  • Send-as address in threads. The From line shows the address a message was actually sent as. (#484)

Authentication

  • A keyring problem is no longer mistaken for being signed out. Credentials that are missing and credentials that can't be read right now are told apart: cached credentials keep working, and hey auth status reports the storage problem instead of claiming you're logged out. (#464)
  • A refused refresh token stays refused. When HEY rejects a refresh token and the keyring won't delete it, later commands no longer resend it. (#465)
  • hey watch and the TUI stop reconnecting after authentication fails for good. They still retry through network drops, rate limits and temporary keyring errors. (#466)

Agents and integrations

  • Codex on macOS. The HEY skill tells a sandbox hiding the Keychain apart from a missing login, and asks before running a read-only auth check rather than reporting the task as blocked. (#471)
  • Omarchy bar plugin. An install that reports an error but leaves the plugin enabled is now accepted, instead of being stuck retrying. (#472)
