Workaround

Can switch to an archlinux mirror, download package, then switch back. Steam can then successfully download and run.

I just had the same problem. Switched to the edge mirror to install steam omarchy-refresh-pacman-mirrorlist edge, but they shuld fix this

Did what @Flashengo said and can now install Steam. Was getting the 404 error before as well on 3.2.0

Updated the stable repo to include this as well. This is a side-effect of having dbs from edge, which reference packages that don't exist on stable. Think we need to reset those dbs when we switch between the channels.
