Told first that it can't be undone

  • In the agent's window. When a force push, a delete, money or an email waits for approval, Claude Code says "It can't be undone once it runs." while it waits.

  • In every notification. Slack, Discord, phone, Teams and email now start with "Can't be undone:" for these.

  • In your own terminal. squidbrake setup now asks once ([y/N], Enter means no) whether to add the same warning to the commands you type yourself:

    • git push --force asks first.
    • rm -rf ~/ is blocked.

It goes into your shell's startup file between two marker lines, after a backup. squidbrake shell-guard uninstall takes it out again. To add it later: squidbrake shell-guard install --write.

Upgrade: run the install line again, or pipx upgrade squidbrake
