Code Ontology Companion 0.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@battle-doll battle-doll released this 05 Sep 19:03

Version 0.6.1 follows the 0.6.0 Astra launch update and makes Code Ontology Companion usable in the current task: check an authorized workspace, perform a snapshot-pinned source lookup, and continue the work. Both packages now include apply-code-ontology and manage-code-ontology.

Supported-source checkpoints refresh once when authorized and verify final freshness, coverage, warnings, and snapshot identity. Concurrent edits or snapshot replacement produce an incomplete result. Optional Context and Contracts routes retain their own execution and evidence boundaries; the plugin preserves existing setup and does not create persistent activation settings by default.

Validation: 222 local tests passed; 2 optional external-product tests were skipped. Application tests passed 30/30, and artifact tests passed 13/13. Both archives reproduced byte-for-byte in independent builds and matched GitHub CI artifacts. Windows, macOS, and Linux checks passed with Python 3.9 and 3.12. Native Codex installation and live host skill routing remain separate validation work.

The full ZIP includes the optional read-only local MCP server. The skills-only ZIP is the OpenAI portal upload package and includes no MCP executable or server registration. GitHub publication is separate from OpenAI directory approval and publication.

0.6.0 · Astra launch update

Choose a tag to compare

@battle-doll battle-doll released this 05 Sep 15:01

Code Ontology Companion 0.6.0 celebrates the Astra launch with a 3D source explorer and more precise, traceable retrieval.

  • Explore structure, impact and changes in a 3D-first offline workbench with simpler controls, camera focus and source-evidence selection.
  • Use exact symbol search, structured filters, pagination and pinned snapshots. Follow direction-aware dependency paths and compare node, relationship and evidence modifications.
  • Retain original Code evidence through immutable Context references. Direct conversion of real snapshots into the stricter Contracts draft remains unsupported.
  • Read the compact skill/data contract and the refreshed five-language README.

Open the actual self-ontology in your browser · Source and artifact provenance

Validation: 192 local tests passed, including current local Context/Contracts consumers. Windows, macOS and Linux CI passed on Python 3.9 and 3.12. Both ZIP profiles passed exact-content validation, extracted smoke tests and two byte-identical builds. Desktop/mobile browser QA and native reference JSON Schema checks passed. Actual Astra A/B improvement remains unmeasured.

Use the complete ZIP for the local plugin with MCP. The Skills-only ZIP is the OpenAI portal candidate; directory review and publication are separate. Existing published releases remain unchanged. The public demo analyzes the committed supported Java/Python source, including tests and public synthetic fixtures; it does not represent runtime behavior.

  • Bundled skill agent metadata now matches the accessible default 2D, optional 3D, evidence, and coverage workflows.
  • The published v0.5.0 tag and assets remain immutable. Analyzer semantics, ontology schema, visualization behavior, permissions, privacy boundaries, and vendored dependencies are unchanged.

Validation:

  • 153 unit tests
  • visualization quality gate 8/8
  • ontology quality corpus passing
  • Windows/macOS/Linux with Python 3.9/3.12
  • deterministic double builds and exact archive validation

Code Ontology Companion v0.5.0

Choose a tag to compare

@battle-doll battle-doll released this 12 Aug 16:35

Code Ontology Companion v0.5.0 adds an accessible, opt-in 3D ontology constellation while keeping the offline 2D workbench as the default and fallback.

Highlights:

  • Interactive offline Canvas2D perspective view with deterministic, bounded 160-node/480-edge rendering
  • Pointer and keyboard-equivalent orbit, pan, zoom, fit, reset, and selection controls
  • Reduced-motion, high-contrast, hidden-tab pause, responsive reflow, live status, and equivalent DOM relationship exploration
  • Evidence-calibrated relationships with source spans, rule IDs, derivation basis, runtime limitations, adapter coverage, and diff provenance
  • Conservative Java CALLS extraction and executable Java/Spring/Python quality corpus
  • Full and Skills-only reproducible packages with Windows/macOS/Linux, Python 3.9/3.12 validation

The accessibility implementation targets WCAG 2.2 AA design requirements; it is not presented as a certification without manual assistive-technology and browser testing.

Code Ontology Companion v0.3.4

Choose a tag to compare

@battle-doll battle-doll released this 02 Aug 09:12

Public profile boundary

  • The OpenAI-ready Skills-only artifact now contains only the general-purpose local code-ontology workflow.
  • Downstream personal-project runtime-binding code, instructions, schema claims, and evaluations remain limited to the separate full/local profile.
  • Fail-closed artifact validation and extracted CLI checks prevent that private extension from leaking into the public profile.

Quality and portability

  • 108 tests passed across Ubuntu, macOS, and Windows with Python 3.9 and 3.12.
  • 76 human-readable documents are available in English, Korean, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
  • Both release profiles are deterministic and independently reproduced byte-for-byte.

Use code-ontology-companion-skills-only-0.3.4.zip for the OpenAI Skills-only submission. Use code-ontology-companion-0.3.4.zip for the full/local profile with the bundled read-only stdio MCP server.

Code Ontology Companion 0.3.3

Choose a tag to compare

@battle-doll battle-doll released this 02 Aug 08:41

Code Ontology Companion 0.3.3 is a documentation and localization release. It publishes the full local-first architecture and staged roadmap in English, Korean, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese while preserving 0.3.2 as the unchanged functional baseline. It also adds automated parity validation for 76 human-facing documents and keeps English legal and license text authoritative.

Use the full ZIP for the existing local Codex profile with the bundled read-only stdio MCP server. The Skills-only ZIP is retained as the reproducible public-profile artifact for this tagged revision; a later patch will separate project-specific downstream extensions before the next OpenAI portal submission.

Verification:

  • 107 local tests
  • Linux, macOS, and Windows CI with Python 3.9 and 3.12
  • deterministic double builds and exact archive/checksum/profile/smoke validation
