Idiolect beta testing

Thank you for testing Idiolect. This is prerelease software, so please expect rough edges and keep anything irreplaceable backed up.

Please test

1. Installation: Was dragging Idiolect to Applications clear?
2. Permissions: Could you grant Accessibility and Input Monitoring without confusion?
3. Capture: Do completed words and phrases appear after typing in ordinary applications?
4. Privacy boundaries: Confirm that password fields and denylisted applications do not add entries.
5. Startup: After logging out and back in, does Idiolect appear in the Dock without opening a window? Does clicking the Dock icon reveal it?
6. Reliability: Note crashes, high processor use, excessive battery use, or recording that unexpectedly stops.
7. Usefulness: Which views or insights feel valuable, confusing, or unnecessary?

When reporting a problem, include:

• Mac model and processor family
• macOS version
• Idiolect version
• What you expected and what happened
• Reproduction steps

Do not attach the encrypted database, screenshots of private text, captured word lists, or other sensitive content to a public GitHub issue. Describe the behavior without sharing private data.
