OrthoRoute 1.0.0 is the first packaged release for KiCad 10.

Install with KiCad

  1. Download OrthoRoute-1.0.0-KiCad-PCM.zip below.
  2. In KiCad 10, open Plugin and Content Manager and choose Install from File....
  3. Select the downloaded ZIP.
  4. Enable the API server under Preferences > Plugins.
  5. Restart PCB Editor and allow several minutes for the isolated Python environment and dependencies to install.
  6. Open a board and launch OrthoRoute from Tools > External Plugins.

  • OrthoRoute-1.0.0-KiCad-IPC.zip — manual native IPC plugin archive for development and troubleshooting.

This release includes native KiCad IPC integration, the PR #17 compatibility work, GPU acceleration with CUDA/CuPy or Apple Silicon/Metal, and the validated KiCad metadata v2 package layout.
