Adding a Page to Eagle Public

Steps for wiring a page into eagle-public's (react line) shared layout. Background on the layout pieces referenced below is in Eagle Public Page Layout.

  1. Wrap the page's content in page-container (or nest it inside a band that already carries the class, such as PageMasthead's inner wrapper).
  2. Use PageMasthead for a page that opens with a titled band; pass title and, unless the page is the site root, breadcrumbs ending in the current page.
  3. Do not add a competing width, max-width or side-padding rule; use --page-max-width or --page-gutter if a bespoke rule is unavoidable. Text blocks have no measure cap of their own — do not add one.
  4. A full-bleed page (like the map) opts out of the container on its own route class, rather than overriding .page-container globally.
