Drive Cursor's Browser Tab from any CLI or MCP agent. MIT. Unofficial, and not part of Cursor.

Install

Extension (Cursor). Download cursor-browser-cli-1.3.0.vsix from this release:

cursor --install-extension cursor-browser-cli-1.3.0.vsix

Then reload the window.

From source:

git clone https://github.com/bcharleson/cursor-browser-cli.git
cd cursor-browser-cli
npm install

npm install -g cursor-browser-cli still installs 1.2.2 until the maintainer npm token is refreshed and 1.3.0 is published. Cursor's Extensions search reads Open VSX. The bcharleson namespace is not claimed there yet, so this release does not appear in that search.

  • Loopback bridge refuses requests that carry a browser Origin or Referer
  • Packaging script no longer depends on a machine-specific path
