Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/Imaginate.git
   cd Imaginate

2. Install dependencies:

   pip install openai streamlit

3. Setup OpenAI API key:

   • Create a .env file in the root directory and add your OpenAI API key:

     OPENAI_API_KEY=your-api-key-here
     

How It Works

image_lib.py

This script contains the core functionality for generating images. It initializes the OpenAI client and defines the get_image_response() function, which:

1. Calls the OpenAI API: Sends a prompt to DALL-E 3 to generate an image.
2. Handles the Response: Retrieves the image URL, downloads the image, and returns it as a BytesIO object.

iage_app.py

This script serves as the user interface using Streamlit. It provides:

• A text area for users to input their image prompts.
• A button to trigger image generation.
• A display area to show the generated image.

DALL-E 3 Model

DALL-E 3 is an advanced image generation model from OpenAI that excels in creating high-quality visuals from textual descriptions. Key features include:
