Release list
v0.2.0
This release adds editing workflows for existing pages and typed Tabs, plus a more polished floating builder.
- Edit page source, compile it, review the changes, and save with stale-source protection.
- Add and edit Tabs on registered pages using fields derived from the component's TypeScript contract. Drafts survive navigation between pages.
- Discover existing tab groups and registered static routes, including nested and lazy routes.
- Move the builder with mouse, touch, or keyboard. Theme and launcher visibility preferences are remembered in the browser.
- Enjoy staggered entrances, a comet-like hex trail, and a blue Atom loader that zooms into the ready indicator. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
- Add Ctrl+N and Ctrl+P support to result and page-selector navigation.
Requires Node.js 22.22.2 or newer. Supports Vite, Rspack, and Rsbuild development servers.
Validation: typecheck, 55 project/API/bundler tests, 24 browser tests, and an isolated install of the packed npm artifact.
The attached tarball and SHA-256 checksum are ready for manual npm publishing:
npm publish ./beastjs-page-builder-0.2.0.tgz --access publicAfter npm publication, install with bun add -d @beastjs/page-builder.
v0.1.0
The first release of @beastjs/page-builder: a configurable floating page builder for Beast development servers.
- Open with Cmd+B / Ctrl+B, with an entrance transition and hexagonal sonar scan.
- Search pages, components, navigation menus, and tab groups. Inspect item types, required/optional fields, literal unions, component props, and shared data bindings.
- Scaffold
src/pages/<Name>.btsx, register the lazy TanStack route insrc/router.ts, and add the navigation link in one reviewed save. - Choose blank or landing page starters, insert sections, edit BTSX, and validate compilation before saving.
- Supports Vite, Rspack, and Rsbuild; configurable shortcut, theme, position, scan duration, launcher, router, and menu targets.
This release provides source scaffolding and inspection. It does not include visual drag-and-drop editing or whole-project TypeScript validation. Requires Node.js 22.22.2 or newer and an existing TanStack Router app shell for page creation.
Validation: typecheck, 41 project/API/bundler tests, 7 browser tests, and an isolated install of the packed npm artifact.
The attached tarball is ready for manual npm publishing:
