Bernie 0.9.1 for Linux (x86_64 and ARM 64-bit).

  • The packages now carry their AppStream metadata: software centers show Bernie's description, screenshots and license.
  • New: a Flatpak repository for any distribution, and Flatpak bundles attached to this release once they are built.

First public Linux release of Bernie, the laser engraving and cutting app.

  • Bernie_0.9.0_amd64.deb / Bernie_0.9.0_arm64.deb: Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Raspberry Pi OS (x86_64 and ARM 64-bit).
  • Bernie_0.9.0_amd64.AppImage / Bernie_0.9.0_aarch64.AppImage: any recent distribution (chmod +x, then run).
  • SHA256SUMS: checksums.

Install and get updates through apt: see https://beber666.github.io/bernie-releases/.
USB lasers: your account must be a member of the dialout group (sudo usermod -aG dialout $USER, then log out and back in).
