Install Home Assistant Supervised

Install

Remark

During the process, your ip might changes because of changes to the network stack. Please reconnect ssh when this happens.

Use Raspbian PI OS (64 bits) - Debian Bookworm

Use linux_aarch64.deb as architecture for install files.

Make sure docker CE is installed

curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com -o get-docker.sh
sudo sh get-docker.sh

Install the Agent for Home Assistant OS. See releases page.

LATEST_RELEASE=$(curl -s https://api.github.com/repos/home-assistant/os-agent/releases/latest)
ASSET_URL=$(echo $LATEST_RELEASE | jq -r '.assets[] | select(.name | contains("linux_aarch64.deb")) | .browser_download_url')
wget $ASSET_URL -O os-agent_latest_linux_aarch64.deb
sudo dpkg -i os-agent_latest_linux_aarch64.deb

Install Home Assistant Supervised

wget https://github.com/home-assistant/supervised-installer/releases/latest/download/homeassistant-supervised.deb
sudo apt install ./homeassistant-supervised.deb

Run (update to the latest version):

wget https://github.com/home-assistant/os-agent/releases/download/1.5.1/os-agent_1.5.1_linux_armv7.deb
sudo dpkg -i ./os-agent_1.5.1_linux_armv7.deb

This command cannot run in ssh and needs to be done directly on Pi.

sudo apt install apparmor -y

Open Home Assistant

Open a browser and head over to the local page: http://:8123/
