GPBar v0.3.1 for Apple Silicon and macOS 26 or newer.

Download the DMG and drag GPBar to Applications, or open the PKG installer.

Added

• Show helper status, failure codes, app and helper versions, installation paths, and last successful contact in release Settings.
• Preview and copy a diagnostic report with recent helper events and network recovery status.
• Record safe helper startup, connection acceptance or rejection, engine startup, and cleanup events.
• Explain how to collect macOS logs when GPBar cannot identify the cause.

Privacy and compatibility

Diagnostic reports exclude credentials, authentication URLs, account names, and private network details. Home and custom installation paths are redacted.
Current status remains separate from historical failures. Cached helper details are marked stale when contact is lost.
Existing protocol-11 helpers remain compatible, but need updating to provide version details and lifecycle events.

Upgrade notes and limits

Disable macOS login SSO for every enrolled user before updating or removing the helper, if enabled.
Before reinstalling, disconnect, remove the helper in Settings, and quit GPBar.

Release Settings, report preview and copying, helper versions, older-helper compatibility, and lifecycle events were checked live on macOS 26.6.2.
Forced timeout, signature rejection, incompatible protocol, login capture, and cleanup failure received source review but remain unverified live.
The existing authentication limits and split DNS limits still apply.
