This is the first public beta of oneShot, a powerful Blender addon designed to dramatically simplify photogrammetry workflows. It provides a complete, self-contained pipeline to generate 3D scenes from videos/images or to import pre-existing COLMAP data.

Quick Start

  1. Install: Install the addon via Edit > Preferences > Add-ons > Install.
  2. Setup Dependencies: After enabling the addon, expand its preferences and use the provided buttons to install COLMAP and FFmpeg.
  3. Generate or Import:
    • For a fully automated workflow, use the oneShot Workflow panel: select your video/images and click Generate Scene.
    • To import an existing project, use the Direct Import panel: select your COLMAP folder and click Import Model.

Key Features

  • Dual Workflow: Generate a scene from scratch or import a pre-existing model.
  • One-Click Dependencies: Manages COLMAP & FFmpeg installation for you from the addon preferences.
  • Advanced Customization: Fine-tune the import with settings for cameras, animation, distortion, and more.
  • Responsive UI: The reconstruction process runs in the background, keeping Blender responsive.
