SoulsTracker v1.2.2 gives Elden Ring players a reliable way to correct missed saved death totals and makes those controls available through the existing global hotkeys.
Elden Ring missed deaths
- Add or remove missed deaths when Elden Ring's saved total does not include them.
- This can help with some PvP and invasion-style deaths, including the Great Jar challenge, which may be omitted from the saved total.
- The displayed Total Deaths value combines the saved total with your adjustment, so it stays correct as the game continues saving.
Global hotkeys
- Your existing shared global hotkeys now add or remove Elden Ring missed-death adjustments.
- The same hotkeys continue to work with the manual Bloodborne and Demon Souls counters.

Total Deaths overlay
- The Skull-only Total Deaths icon stays visible when the title is blank.
- Total Deaths now anchors inside the fixed OBS Browser Source canvas for predictable left, center, and right placement.
- Automatic memory-based death totals remain visible during brief game loading transitions.
Boss list
- Elden Ring boss display names have been restored to their canonical forms.

SoulsTracker v1.2.0 adds automatic save-file tracking for Elden Ring and Black Myth: Wukong, expands the boss checklist, and makes stream setup more predictable.
Elden Ring
- Automatically discovers local
ER0000.sl2saves in common PC locations. - Lets you choose the character you are streaming and shows the character name and level.
- Reads that character's lifetime death total directly from the save.
- Keeps Browse and Rescan available for nonstandard save locations.
- Hides empty character slots from the character picker.
Black Myth: Wukong
- Automatically discovers supported Steam and Epic PC save slots.
- Selects an unambiguous slot automatically or lets you choose when multiple slots are found.
- Reads the slot's lifetime death total and shows useful details such as level, play time, and last-saved time when available.
- Adds a complete Black Myth: Wukong boss checklist.
Better boss tracking and overlays
- Search any game's boss list and return to the normal list by clearing the search. Search also resets when you change games or restart SoulsTracker.
- Use All, Main, and DLC boss filters when a game's content supports those choices. Games without DLC keep the simpler All Bosses view.
- The Boss List browser overlay is now a fixed 600 x 1080 widget. Long names wrap inside the widget instead of shifting the list during a stream.
- Empty boss selections are blank on the overlay, while the app clearly says that no bosses are being displayed.
- Valid save-file tracking now starts from zero when no death value is available instead of showing an error-like unavailable state.
Setup and reliability improvements
- Game and save selection are clearer and more compact.
- The selected game is restored reliably when SoulsTracker starts.
- Death-sound volume changes save automatically.
- Shutdown reliability has been improved and is covered by a packaged-app shutdown benchmark.

Elden Ring support
- Added Elden Ring death tracking using the save file you choose.
- Pick your
ER0000.sl2file, then choose the character you want to track. Character names and levels show up when they are available. - Added an Elden Ring boss list with Base game, Shadow of the Erdtree, All bosses, and Required bosses only filters.
- The Elden Ring list you choose also updates the Boss List overlay, preview, and TXT export.
- Added a simple setup message that shows where the save file is usually located if you need to find it yourself.
Other changes
- Shortened several major Elden Ring boss names while keeping clear labels for duplicate fights.
- Removed the repeated Shadow of the Erdtree labels from the Boss List overlay and preview.
- Tightened up the Elden Ring save picker, character picker, boss controls, and status messages.
- Fixed checkbox hit areas so empty space beside a checkbox no longer changes it.

This update mainly cleans up the settings and overlay stuff.
- Added a Play button for death sounds so you can test the sound and volume before going live.
- Cleaned up the Death Sound settings. Buttons now only work when they should, volume is easier to edit, and clearing a sound no longer disables it.
- Fixed the same clear and enable issue with the Deaths and Boss List TXT exports.
- Cleaned up the Overlay tab with better spacing, simpler settings, an optional background toggle, and the normal Windows color picker.
- Added a quick explanation for adding the overlays to OBS or other streaming software.
- Fixed weird purple focus and highlight behavior on tabs, dropdowns, and inputs.
- Fixed some layout issues where settings or content could get cut off.
- Improved app closing speed and reliability.
- Reordered the games by release date while keeping the Dark Souls trilogy together.
- Renamed Demon's Souls to Demon Souls.
Elden Ring is still coming soon and is not supported in this update.
