  • ✨ Added configurable placement: new options for side, align, sideOffset, and alignOffset let you control which side the menu appears on and apply pixel offsets along both axes. Defaults: side = "bottom", align = "start". These can be set via options or data-attributes.
  • ✨ Improved hover behavior: the menu now stays open across small hover gaps between trigger and content, reducing accidental closures when moving the pointer.
  • ✨ Positioning improvements: integration with the library's floating positioning utilities (computeFloatingPosition) yields more accurate placement when using side/align offsets.
  • 🐛 Minor polish: stability and UX improvements around portal/hover interactions (no API changes required).
