  • 🐛 Fix: Prevent hover-card from automatically opening when it is nested inside a dialog that is opened while the pointer is already over the page. The hover open logic now tracks recent pointer movement and requires a short hover-intent window before opening, avoiding accidental opens when dialogs appear under the cursor.
  • Implementation details (for maintainers):
    • Added a POINTER_HOVER_INTENT_WINDOW_MS (250ms) threshold.
    • Track last pointer movement time (lastPointerMoveAt) and only allow pointer-initiated opens if movement occurred within the intent window.
    • Reset pointer tracking on pointerdown to avoid stale state.
  • User impact: More predictable hover behavior when dialogs or overlays are shown; reduces unwanted hover-card popups in nested dialog scenarios.
  • Migration: No API changes; no action required from consumers.
