Moonbite 0.1.0 Alpha 1 — Public Preview

Moonbite 0.1.0 Alpha 1 is the first tagged public preview of a continuity runtime for long-running AI agents.

Highlights

• durable event, audit, control, and cadence state
• cross-session memory with explicit provenance and grounded diary synthesis
• short-lived Panel / Daily RAM state with bounded lifecycle rules
• guarded heartbeat and bounded autonomy with verified external-effect receipts
• configurable urgent heartbeat kinds that may bypass selected contact guards while still passing Judge and normal effect handling
• a host-neutral standalone Panel API for future adapters

Compatibility and distribution

• Python 3.11–3.14 on Linux, WSL2 using a native Linux filesystem, and macOS
• current supported host integration: Hermes Agent
• source-only GitHub prerelease; no PyPI package or binary attachments
