Issue generating endnotes

Once i try to generate endnotes it says, "Something went wrong...the issue has been logged." how can i get that resolved

Ok, the script isn't handling something in the document correctly. Do you have a sample you can share (view only is fine) to try and narrow down what it is?

I've identified the issue and it has to do with document structure. Some items in a doc, like tables or page numbers, don't have a start or stop position, which I'm using to add the endnote reference.

I'm working on a fix, but in the meantime, make sure all of your footnotes are on text and not on blank lines or on entire tables. For instance, if you have a footnote on an entire table, you can fix the issue by putting the note on the table heading or title somewhere.

Hi! Same issue here. All footnotes are on text, and we have no tables running over footers. Unfortunately the document is confidential, so I can't share it with anyone. Would very much appreciate your help !

@NielsDevisscher I'll keep digging into which elements throw errors. Can you confirm that the sidebar doesn't display any errors or warnings before you convert the footnotes?
