Monet Desktop 1.1.1 is a privacy and usability update for macOS and Windows.

What's new

  • Removes local user names and absolute filesystem paths from customer-visible handoff archives, diagnostics, and exported project metadata.
  • Keeps reviewer attribution out of shared projects unless the user explicitly enables and acknowledges it.
  • Keeps imported connectors disabled until they are reviewed locally and prevents imported hosts from receiving credentials saved on the computer.
  • Improves annotation persistence, crawl cancellation, project navigation, visible version and build information, and iPad project handoff compatibility.
  • Simplifies navigation by keeping images, folders, palettes, and source context inside each project instead of a global Library.

macOS requires macOS 26.0 or later. Both Mac builds are Developer ID signed and Apple notarized. The Windows installer is Authenticode signed. Checksums and signed automatic-update packages are included.

All three platform artifacts, updater signatures, release hashes, and the merged updater manifest were verified before publication. Existing installations receive this update automatically. Website download and checkout controls remain temporarily paused for final review.
