Chapter Diff 0.1.0

Initial release of Chapter Diff for Obsidian.

Highlights

  • Compare the active note with any revision in its Git history.
  • View the past revision and live editor content side by side with highlighted changes.
  • Refresh the comparison automatically while editing.
  • Switch revisions directly from the diff pane.
  • Follow file history across Git renames.

Requirements

  • Obsidian 1.7.2 or newer on desktop.
  • A local vault inside a Git repository.
  • Git available on the system PATH.

Manual installation

Download main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css, place them in .obsidian/plugins/chapter-diff/, reload Obsidian, and enable Chapter Diff under Settings → Community plugins.
