  • Increased scene break visibility by using the active theme’s muted text color.
  • Preserved the existing divider thickness, width, and vertical spacing.
  • The divider remains theme-aware in both dark and light mode.

What’s new

  • Scene Navigator now recognizes a standalone line containing exactly four hyphens (----) as a scene break.
  • A subtle native-themed divider appears before the following scene in the sidebar.
  • Optional surrounding whitespace is ignored; three- and five-hyphen lines are not treated as scene breaks.
  • Adding or removing a divider refreshes the navigator automatically.
  • Scene breaks remain visual and non-interactive, and the plugin never modifies the Markdown source.

What’s new

  • Added Copy current scene and Select current scene commands. Both operate on the scene containing the editor cursor and can be assigned shortcuts under Settings → Hotkeys.
  • Moved Copy scene to the top of the sidebar context menu.
  • Ordered the remaining actions as Select, Duplicate, and Cut, with Cut separated as the destructive action.
  • Commands show a notice without changing anything when the cursor is before the first scene marker.

  • Added Select scene to the sidebar context menu. It selects the complete scene so Obsidian can display selection statistics such as word count.
  • Toggle scene comment now wraps the whole word when invoked with the cursor inside it.
  • Existing scene markers can be removed with the cursor inside the comment or at either marker boundary.
  • Documented Shift-Command-, (⇧⌘,) as a suggested macOS shortcut.

  • Added an informational plugin settings page explaining how Scene Navigator uses portable HTML comments as scene markers.
  • Added test coverage for scene comment creation, wrapping, removal, and overlap handling.
