Paddock 1.0 (1)
First release of Paddock — ESXi virtual machines from a native Mac app, for standalone hosts without vCenter.
- Several hosts, one sidebar — add each ESXi host once (certificate pinned, password in the Keychain) and see every VM with its power and Tools state; filter All / Running / Off
- Power and snapshots — power on / off / reset / suspend, guest shutdown and reboot, snapshot tree with take / revert / delete
- Inside the guest through VMware Tools — copy files in, run commands and scripts, keep a bash or PowerShell session open, paste the Mac clipboard into the guest, and share the clipboard both ways
- Built-in console — no browser needed; double-click a VM to open it, ⌘ acts as Ctrl inside the guest, Ctrl-Alt-Del and Windows keys from the Keys menu, keyboard follows the mouse
- Consoles stay connected in the background so Windows guests no longer lock when you switch VMs; the lock-on-disconnect option is shown per VM and can be turned off
- Optional Rewind records the console so you can scrub back through what just happened
- Network editing — a VM's adapters, port groups, virtual switches and uplinks
Unsigned build — first launch: right-click the app and choose Open, or allow it in
