Release list
SheepTerm 5.0 (16)
- New "Don't log this session" option per host: in New SSH Connection, New Serial Console, Add Host / Edit Host and Add Hosts. Sessions to that host never write a log file, while every other host is still logged as before.
- The option syncs between your Macs and SheepTerm for Windows.

- Updates now ask for Keychain access only once, however many saved hosts you have (it used to ask once per host after every update).
- This update moves your saved passwords into the new single Keychain entry: macOS asks one last time for each saved password when SheepTerm starts. Enter your login password and choose "Always Allow".

- Esc closes every dialog and window that has a way out (Later, Back, Close, Done…).

- The new-host-key card reads: Connect Once on the left, then Cancel and Trust & Connect.

- New: Sync. Sign in with Google (bottom-left of the sidebar) and your hosts, groups, credentials with their passwords, snippets and settings follow you to every Mac.
- End-to-end encrypted with your own sync passphrase before anything leaves the Mac; stored in a hidden folder of your own Google Drive. Nobody else — not Google, not SheepTerm — can read it. Forgetting the passphrase means resetting the synced copy.
- Changes are merged entry by entry, so editing different hosts on two Macs keeps both.
- Your account picture: your Google photo, a figure, an animal, or a picture of your own; a ring shows the sync state (green synced, orange needs you, red offline).
- The sidebar's bottom bar is tidier: the account on the left, everything else (New Group, Add Host…, Add Hosts…, Reorder, Expand/Collapse) under ≡.
- New: Add Host… saves a single host to a group without connecting.
- Password fields stay on an English keyboard while you type in them.

- Update alerts are shorter: what changed is now behind a Details… button, shown as a readable list.
- A host whose key is known and whose password is saved now connects without the "Connecting…" card flashing up, even on devices that take a moment to log in.
