podbox v0.7.2

Small release focused on installer robustness, prebuilt guest freshness, and internal modularization.

Highlights

  • Online installer hardened: scripts/install-online.sh gains PODBOX_BINDIR / PODBOX_VERSION / PODBOX_FORCE envs, download retries, checksum entry validation, archive and binary sanity checks, atomic install via temp file, stale file cleanup, per-shell PATH hints, and skip-if-up-to-date (a7daa9c).
  • Prebuilt guest freshness: package overlays on prebuilt images now layer the host's embedded guest binary, so /run/podbox/guest-version matches the host after rebuild. The layer is content-hashed, so podman cache only busts when the guest actually changes (19ba19a, supersedes 89a3a39).

Refactor / Internals

  • doctor.rs split: 1292-line file becomes doctor/{mod,host,integration,container,exposure,fix} with a thin orchestrator. Output byte-identical, all public paths unchanged (e7ae291).
  • quadlet.rs split: 682-line file becomes quadlet/{mod,container,devices,services}. Generated units byte-identical (fd1b5e7).
  • Workspace lints tightened path unchanged: cargo fmt --check / cargo clippy -- -D warnings clean, full cargo test green.

Docs

  • Top header bar restored (was hidden via CSS), footer prev/next nav and social links un-hidden, keyword-rich site description, CLI Reference added to nav (was orphan), cli.md meta description (ac41dcf).
