gary4juce v4.0.4

this is a focused Carey release for the Windows VST3 build.

changed

  • opens up Carey LoRA usage in lego mode
  • refreshes the Carey docs with current LoRA/model guidance
  • clarifies that lego mode is still usually more reliable and musical with regular acestep-v15-base when no LoRA adapter is loaded
  • notes that xl-base gets much more interesting with a matching xl-base LoRA, especially for vocals and backing vocals

use this with gary4local v0.1.18.

gary4local v0.1.18 fixes local Carey seed reporting and updates ACE-Step LoRA captioning so LM-hallucinated lyrics are omitted from training sidecars.

install

close your DAW before replacing the plugin.

the Windows ZIP contains a single gary4juce.vst3 folder. you can use Extract All directly into:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\

Windows may ask for administrator permission for that destination.
